About GROWU.AE
The company has been assisting scandinavian companies and business owners for almost 10 years, and is the oldest licensed scandinavian company in Dubai that works as a preferred and licensed partner in freezone setup.
It is owned by a group of scandinavian consultants and partners, and is working closely together with local authorities. GROWU.AE is a member of DBCD, that is licensed under Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
GROWU.AE is besides business setup a strategic consulting company, which gives us great advantages in our business setup division, as we have expert knowledge at our hands, when it comes to market and strategies.
Preferred Certified Partner for Scandinavian countries
We only setup companies in UAE, and we advise to use our “nordic turn key solution”, which covers everything a client needs for a successful freezone establishment.
Almost 10 years of experience has refined this package.
We can go for cheaper solutions outside partnership Dubai Premium Freezones – but not advised, as we cannot guarantee full support through the process, as we don’t have authorisation to work on your behalf, and furthermore there is higher risk for getting declined and/or delayed on getting bank account for the company.
Tax & VAT
We cannot and are not allowed to consult or advise in any tax or vat related matters, as that is only licensed auditors that can do that. In terms of tax matters regarding your home country, we advise you to consult a tax advisor licensed in your home country, and not a UAE licensed one.
Regarding VAT in UAE, there is a 5% VAT, as soon as you exceed the VAT threshold in turnover. Corporate TAX is 9% of yearly result above threshold after expenses/salary etc. if you are applicable for tax. There is NO income tax in Dubai/UAE.
Regarding TAX/VAT in UAE, we have a partner that can assist, and we can setup the contact, and you will get a cheaper rate. We advise on contacting a TAX/VAT advisor, as you need to register as a taxable person in Dubai, even though there is no tax for you when you open the company.
Visa in Dubai
To get a Visa in Dubai you need to have a sponsor – that can be your spouse, an employer or your own company. The last part we can assist you with. The only option besides that is Golden Visa, that you get through big investments in eg. real estate.

You need a visa to work in Dubai as well, it is not legal to work in UAE on a tourist/visit visa – just as it goes for EU countries, the other way around.
